I have brought two groups of students to Costa Rica with Mina Tours. Mina Tours has worked with us to offer specialized programming for our course on ¨Environmental and Cultural Conservation in Costa Rica.¨ Mina Tours has also facilitated students´ individual research projects by arranging interviews and field trips for them. Carlos and Eliette, the owners of Mina Tours, are well-organized, professional, attentive to changes in our needs, and a joy to work with.

I have never been out of the United States without my family before, but the people of Las Juntas and Mina Tours (Carlos and Eliette) are so welcoming and friendly that I feel like I am at home. I have wanted to see and experience the rainforest since I was a little girl. When I arrived in Costa Rica I thought that the most memorable moments of the trip would be of the scenery, and numerous species of flora and fauna -- After interacting with numerous members of the Las Juntas community (ranging from miners to activists to young students), I realized that the tropical forests are not the only great thing about Costa Rica. I can´t wait to come back!!!

This is the first time that I have ever been outside of the United States for an extended period of time, and the service provided by Mina Tours has led to my experience exceeding all the expectations I had before taking this trip to Costa Rica . I have gotten to fulfill a lifelong dream in experiencing the scenery and animals of the tropical forests, and the town of Las Juntas has provided the perfect setting to familiarize myself with the friendly people of Costa Rica and to come to an understanding of their lives. To anyone considering a trip to Costa Rica for a culturally enriching experience and to view biological wonders, I would recommend Mina Tours without a moments hesitation or any reservations.
